CELEBRATING THORNBURY – 30/03/19
We are delighted to have been asked to support and host the forthcoming event organised by local community group, Thornbury Welcomes.
Thornbury Welcomes has been set up recently both to reach out to new-comers to the town and also to work with shops and businesses to ensure they are as welcoming as possible to their clients and customers.
The event, which will take place on Saturday 30th March 2019 between 10am and 2pm, will be a showcase for the more than 20 local groups and organisations in Thornbury that provide activities, entertainment and volunteering opportunities for the local community.
Visitors to the event will be able to meet representatives from these groups and discuss how they can get involved with something they are interested in.
There will also be a range of entertainments, including live music, a children’s ride and magic show.
This will be great opportunity for residents (new and old) to see what a vibrant town Thornbury is and meet other like-minded members of the community.
