Community Bunting Project Display
We were delighted to assist Thornbury Town Council with displaying the bunting, created to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, and made by children from local schools and the members of community groups.
It was planned to be displayed at the picnic organised by the council to mark this auspicious occasion. Unfortunately inclement weather on the day prevented this from going ahead, but determined to find a place to place the bunting the council asked the if St Mary Centre could help. On Sunday 2nd July we installed it in St Mary Street and we hope to leave in place for 4 to 6 weeks.
We were also incredibly impressed with the quality of the designs and the hard work by the team in the Town Council Office, who worked tirelessly to sew the bunting onto the binding tape supplied by The Crafty Cabin.
