Getting About in Thornbury Event 16/05/24
Representatives from South Gloucestershire Council will be at The St Mary Centre on Thursday 16th May at the Farmers Market to meet local people and discuss their new project ‘Getting About in Thornbury‘
They will be on hand to discuss how they can improve your town by making it easier to get around, whichever way you travel.
Thornbury is an historic market town that is full of character and charm making it a great place to live and visit. Lots of families live in Thornbury and there is opportunity to make it a more family friendly environment.
There is opportunity to better connect some of Thornbury’s new developments with older parts of the town, including the town centre to encourage more people to access the many shops and leisure facilities in the town supporting local businesses.
Government funding has become available to make improvements and through this Getting About in Thornbury engagement we want to work with you to use this money to help make your town healthier, safer and easier to access
Thornbury Farmers Market runs between 0900 & 1300 on the first & third Thursdays of each month.
